Manoir DESIDERATA is 300 years old, full of character and beautifully presented. A two year detailed restoration has taken this house to a very high standard. The entrance to the property is through electric entrance gates, the sweeping drive skirts around the woods, arriving at a flowered roundabout facing the large open veranda in front of the house.

Veranda:
Lovely place to sit and relax in the evening, it looks out over the pool woods, garden, and the distant valley. Furnished with comfortable chairs and a large table for outside meals.

Sitting Room :
Entrance from the veranda this open plan lounge measures approx. 50Ft x 20ft . With another large table seating 14 people. A mezzanine level runs most of the length of this lounge leading to the four upstairs bedrooms, on the ground floor to the left of the lounge are the other three bedrooms, at the very far end is a pool table, exercise machine, darts and several others games, the rest of this lounge is well furnished, with period furniture, cosy sofa's, rugs throughout.

Second lounge:
Smaller and more intimate than the other lounge it measures 15ft x 15ft again very well presented, timber beams, wood stove, rugs over earth fired colour tiled floor. Sofa etc.

Kitchen:
Spacious, well equipped with hopefully most items that you can reasonably want. Fully fitted oak units, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. The washing machine is in the utility room next door.

Bedrooms upstairs:
Up the open plan stairway, then each bedroom is off the mezzanine walkway. The first three rooms have two steps down into the bedroom, all beautifully furnished, lots of old beams and sand coloured "pierre apparentes" stone walls. The last bedroom along the walkway is the tower room; this room is very spacious with view overlooking the woods, fields, pool, the 12c local church and Bouglon in the far distance.

Bedrooms downstairs:
Two of these rooms look out over the rear meadow and the woods. The other one opens onto the pool and woods. These rooms are off the left side of the large lounge, up two steps then there is a small open corridor/hallway with each bedroom leading off.

Garden:
All very well planted out, and well tended by our gardener throughout the year. Most of the flowers and shrubs tend to be nearer the house, further away it runs into meadow and the woods. The woods closest to the house are of about 2 acres, lovely to walk through in the summer with several glades and a large pond small lake (fenced) there is a seating area by the water side if you prefer to eat by the water's edge under the trees. There is a second wood at the far left hand corner of the meadow which has been left totally wild.
Between the woods and the pool is a large outside covered area with table tennis table - parking space for at least 6/8 cars.

Pool:
Within a few strides of the house, this 39ft x 19ft heated pool is all at one depth of 1.4 mtr. It's floodlit at night with several other lights placed around the surrounding ground. Comfortable loungers and outside furniture are all around the pool.
